William Bryant, Doris Bailey Complete Plans. 1
Miss Doris West Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Waldo Bailey of Tremont Avenue has completed plans for her wedding on October 26 to William W. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy J. Bryant of Belvedere Avenue. 1
The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church with the minister, Rev. William Kerr McKinney, D. D., officiating. A reception will be held at the Bailey home. 1
Miss Shirley West of Westfield, a cousin of the bride-elect, will be maid of honor, and the other attendants will be Miss Donna Lou Butcher, of Westfield, Mrs. Emerson Van Doren of Mountainside, Miss Jane Scott of Buffalo, N. Y., and Mrs. Thomas Clynes of Orange. 1
John Bryant of Charlotte, N. C, will be his brother's best man. Ushers will be Lieutenant Carl Stevenson of Rochester, N.Y., and Fort Hancock; Lieutenant William Riverof Rutherford and Fort Monmouth; William Stiles and Charles P. Bailey, brother of the bride-elect, both of Westfield. 1
Miss Bailey is a granddaughter of the late Mayor William T. West of Roselle. She is a graduate of Hood College. Mr. Bryant received a degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and is with the Prudential Insurance Co. 1
Mrs. Emereson Van Doren entertained at tea yesterday at her home on Springfield road, Mountainside, for Miss Bailey. 1

William Bryant Sr. 1 W. Bryant Sr., father of William Bryant Jr. of Middlebrook Farm Road, died in Keene, N.H. on Monday, June 22. 1
He lived in Westfield, N.J., and was a retired engineer with Westinghouse Electric. 1
Other survivors include his wife, the former Doris Bailey of Fitzwilliam, N.H.; and two daughters, Jeanne of Corning N.Y. and Susan of Farmington; and five grandchildren, William III, Nancy, Daniel, Douglas and Laura, all of Wilton. 1
Services will take place in- Keene, N.H., this afternoon. 1

Graveside services for William W. Bryant, Sr., 68, of Fitzwilliam, n.H., and a summer resident of Atlantis Island will be held Friday at 11 at the Pleasant Vally Cemetery in Hammond, Rev. L. Everett Waite of the Hammond Presbyterian Church officiating. The Fox funeral home in Hammond is in charge of arrangements. 1
Mr. Bryant died Monday (June 22, 1981) at the Cheshire Hospital in Keene, N.H. 1
He is survived by his wife Doris; two daughters, Jeanne Bryant of Corning, N.Y. and Susan Bryant of Farmington, N.H.; and five grandchildren. 1
Mr. Bryant was born in Jeffersonville, Ind. on March 17, 1913, the son of Percy and Lola Whitzel (sic) Bryant. He graduated from Westfield, N.J. High School and Purdue University as a mechincal engineer. 1
He was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corp. in the elevator division and designed the elevators in the Seagram's building and the Citibank building in New York City and the Sears Tower in Chicago. 1
Mr. Bryant married Doris Bailey and lived in Westfield, N.J. for many years until moving to Fitzwilliam, N.H. over one year ago. 1
Memorial contributions may be made to E.J. Noble Hospital in Alexandria Bay. 1
