Thomas was a son of Henry Bryant and Nancy D. Elmore. He was born
in February 1837 in Virginia. [1] He married twice. His first wife was Elizabeth Hughes. They had five known children. Elizabeth passed away in 1879. He married Victoria Elizabeth Smith. They had eight known children. Thomas passed away in 1910.
Heathsville, Va., May 12 – Thomas Bryant died this morning of pneumonia at his home near Howland's Chapel, aged about seventy years. He leaves a wife and several children.[3]
