DEATHS

BUCHANAN - On December 3rd at his late residence, Franklin Road: George Buchanan, the beloved husband of Agnes R. Buchanan, in his 74th year. Private interment. By request of deceased, no mourning, no flowers.

George was not born at Bonhill Dunbartonshire 1831

as previously stated here.

In the 1841 Census return we find George his brothers John

and Robert with their mother Ann

residing at Rose Street in the Garnethill area of Glasgow.

This is significant as Edward son of Ann is also residing on Rose Street,

he is married with one child Elizabeth born 1839 .
