Hi Clarice, thanks for adding to the Wikitree. Please use caution when creating profiles, though, as many of them have been duplicates. On Wikitree there is one profile per person. See the help page regarding duplicates for more information: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Duplicates (Pro tip: I use Google to search for Wikitree profiles before creating them, as the system doesn't always catch the duplicate). Thanks again!

Hi Dale

Thank you so much for the heads up on duplicates. I will try to do my best as this is all pretty much new to me still. There is a lot to read, learn and build the family tree correctly. This may sound funny but I am a two finger typist...lol...as I never took typing in school. But my husband & two daughters type well. As I have been on WikiTree again now for about three weeks and sometimes I get lost but I am hanging in there. I will try to double and triple check myself. Thank you again, any advice is well appreciated. Clarice.

Hi Clarice,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
