Wilma died from colon cancer. Wilma is buried in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Pike, Ohio. She was the daugher of Fred and Rosa Zahn Buchholz, who preceded her in death.

Obit-- Wilma Buchholz Scott, 70, Johnon chool Rod, Asheville, N.C., died Saturday, April 5, 1997, in Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. Mrs. Scott was the daughter of Fred and Rosa Zahn Buchholz, who preceded her in death. She was married to Orley Purl Scott, who died Nov. 7, 1976. Surviving are five sons, Orley Purl Scott Jr. and Donald Scott, both of Asheville, N.C., David Scott, Piketon, Gene Scott, Jasper, and Glen Scott, Charleston, S.C.; two daughters Ramona Carter, Aiken, S.c. and Barbara Wiseman, Chillicothe; three sisters, Vina Derbyshire, Seattle, Wash., Vera Nelson and Rosella Nystrome, both of Billings, Mont.; five brothers, Donald Buchholz, Minneapolis, Minn., Ruben Buchholz, Haver, Mont., Benny Buchholz, Gillette, Wyo., James Buchholz, Spokane, Wash., and Raymond Buchholz, Rathburn, Idaho; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Scott was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the V.F.W and attended Woodfin Church of God. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 1997, in Anders-Rice Funeral Home, Asheville, N.C., with Rev. Ronald Dodsorr officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Piketon. Friends my call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Monday (today). Local arrangements are under the direction of the How Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home, Piketon.
