"Emil married Lena Hansow, on 25 April 1899, They were the parents of of Edward, Roy, Lester, Elmer, Walter (a veteran), Ervin, Vernon died 10 April 1949, Albert died at 9 months, Otto died between 1949 and 1963, Mrs. Laura Sveum, Miss Linda Buchholz of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, Mrs. Carlus Lena Grotjahn, Mrs. John Florence Krug, Mrs. Gilbert Esther Hardt, Mrs Ewald Eileen Hoksch, 81 grandchildren & 96 great-grand children."
