At the time of the US 1930 census, Lawrence Buchholz (age 7, born in Michigan) was living in Chandler, Michigan with his parents (Herman and Anni Buchholz), grandmother and six siblings.^[1]

At the time of the US 1940 census, Lawrence was living in Chandler with his parents and two brothers.^[2]

Lawrence was a Radio Operator on B-17 bombers with the 336th Bomber Squadron of the 95th Bomber Group based at Horham Airfield in Suffolk, England during Workd War II. He flew at least 29 missions mostly with Eugene H. Cavalier’s crew.^[3]. The same 95th Bomb Group foundation’s 2010 newsletter indicated Lawrence flew 30 missions.

Lawrence A Buchholz married Marian R Zimmer 29 December 1948 in Sebewaing, Michigan.^[4][5] They were divorced in Orange, California in Jan 1972.^[6]

Lawrence A Buchholz (age 50) and Bette J Lemaster (age 47) were married in Orange, California on 24 Nov 1972.^[7] The couple was divorced in Alameda, California in Oct 1976.^[8]

Lawrence August Buchholz (born 20 Aug 1922) died on 15 Jan 2010.^[9] He was buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.

Lawrence's obituary mentions wives Marian Zimmer (children Lorie, John and Jeffrey) and Pat Freedman (children Lorie Terry, Jeff and John), parents Herman and Anna Buchholz, and grandchildren David, Rachel, Rebekah, Sarah, Kathryn, and James.^[10]
