DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Martin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Martin:

this Martin Buchner is my 6th great-grandfather , he is not a Boughner . his son was born Theiss Buchner changed his name to Matthias Boughner when he came to Canada after the Revolutionary War to basically hide from the Americans. there are lots of people with the Boughner surname related back to Matthias and the Buchner clan.
