Claudia was born in Grand Rapids, April 6 1911, the daughter of Albert Matthew Buck and Ora (Nichoson. She was a member of Milwood United Methodist Church, The Ladies Library Association, a life member of the Bedford O.E.S. Chapter #471, and has been active in Friendly Visitors. She married Melvin Leland in 1935[1] and married Curtis D. Rice in 1946. [2]She had one brother, Norman M. Buck.
She had two nephews, Robert Buck of Lake Oswego, Oregon and Norman Buck of Auburn, Washington.
Claudia passed away early Sunday morning, September 1, 2002[3], at Allterra Wynwood[4] and is buried in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South, Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.[5]
