Biography

William Buck was a farmer at Shirdley Hill in the Ormskirk district of Lancashire.

He married Elizabeth Marshall in April 1858 at Christ Church in Southport, and they had 5 children: Richard 1855-1917, William Edward 1857-1935, Jane 1861-?, Robert 1867-1930 and Albert 1875-1927.

William died at Shirdley Hill in April 1887 and was buried at St Cuthbert, Halsall, Lancashire.
