Biography

He was mentioned as "Mr. William Buck and Mrs. Buck".

Almost nothing is known about Mr. William Buck and his wife "Mrs. Buck". Their three known children migrated to New England and soon migrated to Wethersfield, Hartford Colony by 1640. The genealogy book "Buck Origin, History and Genealogy of the Buck Family: pg 25, mentions two Buck brothers Emanuel and Henry Buck of Wethersfield, CT[1]

This Mr. William Buck and his wife often have been conflated with William Buck (Buck-155) and his wife Margaret Neave (Neave-4) of Cambridge and Roxbury, MA. Note that William Buck of Cambridge and Roxbury, Massachusetts and Margaret Neave had a known son named Roger Buck who lived in Roxbury.[2], [3] This family eventually went to Woburn, MA and then to Maine. They are two separate Buck families and there is no known connection nor interaction between the two. Again, there is no documentation to indicate they were the one and same couple.

Mr. William and Mrs. Buck had three known children and they were all born in England. Very little is known about their homeland.

Henry Buck
Emmanuel Buck, who also was called Enoch
Grace Buck

Their children moved to Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut soon after arriving in New England. The ship they sailed is unknown.
