When Huldah (m. Francis) Bulkeley was born on October 1, 1764, in Wethersfield, Connecticut, her father, Benjamin, was 33, and her mother, Susanna, was 31. She married Capt John (m. Bulkley) Francis on November 7, 1792, in her hometown. They had seven children in 14 years. She died on April 14, 1833, at the age of 68, and was buried in Wethersfield Village Cemetery, Wethersfield, Connecticut.
