Biography

John was probably born in England. He was the son of William Buckingham Buckingham-2100 and Mary Story. He married Ivy Ibbotson in August 1906 in Queensland. He passed away in May 1943 in Brisbane, Queensland.

John was a butcher who had his shop opposite the Queensland police horse stables at Goodna. His death was a result of having become drunk and making his way home, he fell over and struck his head on the pavement. His wife Ivy continued to run the butcher's shop for some time prior to selling it.
