Eleanor Harris was born in 1882 at Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

George Christopher Buckingham and Eleanor Harris were married in early July 1903 at the Registry Office in Chipping Norton. ^{[2] [4] [3]}

In 1911 Eleanor Buckingham was living at 21 Spring Street in Chipping Norton with her husband George, their sons Christopher and Victor, and her husband's father and brother. Her age was given as 28, implying a birth date in 1882 or 1883. Her birthplace was given as Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. It was stated that George and Eleanor had been married for 7 complete years and had had 2 children together. ^[3]

Research Notes

Her mother is probably the Ellen Harris, widow, daughter of Henry Stayte, who married at Chipping Norton parish church on 3 June 1905. One of the witnesses was called Eleanor Buckingham. ^[5]
