Biography

Samuel Buckingham was born before before 13 JUN 1640 at Milford, New Haven, Connecticut[1]

Samuel, s. Thomas, bp. [1641], [by Rev. Peter Prudden] at the 1st Church, Milford, New Haven, Connecticut.[2]

Sammuell Buckingham married Sarah Bauldwin on December 12, 1663 at Milford, New Haven, Connecticut. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Ffenn Maiestrat.[3] "Samuel, s. Thomas, m. Sarah Baldwin, d. Timothy, Dec. 14, 1663, by Mr. Benjamin Ffenne."[2] "Samuell, m. Sarah Baldwin, b. of Milford, Dec. 12, 1663, by Mr. Fenn, Magestrate (Written "Samuell Burlingham")"[2]

Samuell Buckingham and his wife Sarah became members of the First Church, Milford, on August 4, 667.[3]

"Buckingham, Samuell Senr, died 17 Mar. 1699/1700" at Milford, New haven, Connecticut. Samuell's death was recorded by Rich: Bryan.[3]

Buckingham-281 and Buckingham-43 do not represent the same person because: different dates, parents and spouses
Nathaniel Buckingham mentioned here is probably the grandson rather than the son of Samuel and Sarah. Thomas Buckingham married Mary Briscoe and they produced Thomas Jr, born circa 1700, Nathaniel born circa 1702, and Mary born circa 1704. See records of early Milford colony of Connecticut.

Buckingham-1066 and Buckingham-43 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse, same child

It is unlikely that Nathanael 1702 is the child of Samuel Buckingham, as Nathanael was born in 1702 and Samuel died in 1699.

Buckingham-381 and Buckingham-43 appear to represent the same person because: The info from the records of Milford, Connecticut Colony indicate this is the same person. Please merge. Many of my ancestors were among the settlers of the colony starting in 1639.
