Sybil (aka Cybil) [1] Buckland was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut, in 1760. She was the daughter of Jonathan Buckland and Sybil (Burnham) Buckland. She moved to Ellington, Tolland County, Connecticut, around 1775 with her family. There she met and married Sylvanus Snow, b: ca. 760. They married in Ellington, Connecticut, in 1781 towards the end of the American Revolution.
