Daddy was a truck driver, big huge rigs. Cars and trucks were the main interest in his life. He loved driving long distances. He attended Western Canada High School in Calgary and graduated with his diploma from high school. The first in the family.
He loved driving. He worked for a time for the transit system in Calgary and then for Standard Gravel for the remainder of his life.
He had 3 children. Twin daughters and a son. Terry, Jackie and Roy Jr. When he was home in Calgary he spent time with his family travelling on vacations into BC and Saskatchewan to see his sister Hazel.
