Biography

William Wentworth Bucknell was born on 9 July 1814 in Holborn, London, England, the son of Martha Bucknell and William Bucknell.^[1][2][3]

With his family, he migrated to Australia in 1826 as passengers on the ship 'Adrian'.^[2][4][5]

He married, firstly, to Susannah Froshney, on 26 December 1841 in New South Wales.^[3] Their children were:^[3]

William married a second time in 1857 in Sydney, New South Wales, to Susan Hopkins.^[3] Their children were:^[3]

William died on 8 October 1891 in Arncliffe, New South Wales, Australia, drowned in Woolli Creek.^[1][6]
