This biography was auto-generated by a GEDCOM import. It's a rough draft and needs to be edited.
This profile is probably supposed to be Samuel Buckner, but since it's so poorly sourced and connected to a profile of dubious origins, it's not clear that it should be merged with the real Samuel Buckner. Like the father presently connected, Thomas Buckner, it appears to derive from Jim White's internet-published Buckner Book I (2008), individual #210. White regularly fabricated data in the book, and this profile is likely to be a combination of forged data and White's general confusion about a lot of things. Although White does not indicate his sources (which is his typical modus operandi), the 1744 death date it gives is certainly based on a mistake in Crozier.[1] Crozier doesn't clearly identify the reason for identifying this 1744 death date, but it appears to be based on some confusion about the reason that Samuel Buckner was removed from the House of Burgesses in that year, since he had accepted a position in the Colonial administration and Burgesses were legally excluded from doing so.[2]
