Biography
Son of William & Dolly (Roy) Buckner of "The Neck". Married Catherine E. Buckner, daughter of Richard Henry Buckner and Charlotte (Hawes) Buckner.
He is probably the Richard Buckner Jr. of Port Royal who fought a duel with Thomas Magruder in 1797.[1]
