Biography

Mary Budds (married name Payne) was born around 1795, the daughter of Thomas Budds and Catherine Budds.^{[citation needed]}

She married John Payne in 1816 in Ossory, Leinster, Ireland.^[1] Their children were:

• Thomas Budds Payne (1819?–1897)^[2]
• William Payne (1821?–1880)^[3]
• John Payne (1824?–1881)^[4]

Mary died on 8 February 1877 at Merville in South Yarra, Victoria, Australia, aged 82 years.^[5][6]
