Marriage
15 FEB 1859
Husband Robert Bruce.
Wife Catherine Budge.
Bathurst, NSW, Australia.
There appear to have been no children from this marriage.
Some time before 1863, Robert and Catherine separated, but there is no evidence that they were divorced or the marriage annulled. Catherine was still alive when her husband, Robert Bruce, "took up with" Elizabeth Marian Packenham nee Darvill.

And now, after that interlude, let us return to the story of our own branch of the BRUCE family – that of Robert BRUCE, James’ and Sarah’s youngest son, born on 15 th July 1838 at Clear Creek near Bathurst.
In 1859 he married Catherine BUDGE (b 1841) but apparently there were no children.
