It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:

Removed wife Hannah Buffum who was married to John Osborne rather than Benjamin Buffington (source on this profile)

She could have married both. This "later research" doesn't preclude her Hannah Buffom's marriage to Benjamin. Why does the image reference have Hannah Southwick's husband as Thomas Buffington, not Benjamin?

What sources show that Hannah Buffum married Benjamin?

Buffington-133 and Buffington-28 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year, same parents, same death year. Wives both named Hannah; Torrey reports his wife as Hannah _______. Please merge
