Henry Buford (Beaufort) was baptized on 15 Mar 1684 in Christchurch, Virginia, to parents Thomas and Mary. He married Mary (Parsons) Osborne on 12 Sep 1707 in Middlesex, Virginia, widow of John Parsons and daughter of Henry Osborne.[1]
Their children were:[1]
Henry Buford died on 16 Jan 1720 in Middlesex, Virginia.[1] His will is dated 15 Jan 1720; it names his two older sons who were of age, his three younger sons who were underage, his "daughter-in-law" (stepdaughter) Mary Parsons, and his brother Thomas, and references his late wife (not named). He bequeaths and does not emancipate two enslaved persons, a man George and a woman Janne, "[s]he and her increase... for ever."[2] "Personal estate amounted to £3,327, very large for the time."[1]
Temperance, wife of Samuel Snead of Anson county, North Carolina, was not a daughter of this family (and was a Burford, not a Buford).
There is no evidence Henry had a daughter named Letitia.
