Biography

M. Mildred Buford Vinson, my mother, told me that Gladys's middle name was from one of the school teachers in Wade, Oklahoma. My Aunt Gladys always seemed to have a smile on her face, but she was as feisty as any of the Buford girls. My Uncle Aaron, her husband, once told me he stayed with her so long because he was able to learn to follow instructions. - R. Clark Vinson
