Henry. Jr., February 17, 1781; Henry Buford married, October 17, 1805, Jane Kent Quirk, widow of Major Thomas Quirk, of the Revolution. Henry Buford died at Locust Level," Bedford County, Virginia, December 31. 1814. He was allowed as captain, under date of November 6, 1777, for pa}'-, rations, etc., for his company, Bedford County, £388 IIS. id.. "Archives of the Virginia State Militia, December 23, 1776, to December 18, 1778." He was one of the presiding magistrates of Bedford County in 1782, and high sheriff from 1790 to 1795.

Following the death of Mildred on 19 April 1802, he married Jane (Kent) Quirk on 17 October 1804. He died on 31 December 1814 in Bedford County, Virginia.
