ANTHONY BULBECK son of Nicholas Bulbeck and Elizabeth Unknown was born about 1662.[1]
Various unsourced websites give his wife as Elizabeth Dunk and a marriage in 1688. Nothing has yet been found to substantiate this.
Anthony died on January 14, 1739[2] and was buried at East Meon on January 17, 1739.[3]
He held the coppice land at Chilingworth when he died and left this to his son, John In his will he was a Yeoman of Oxenbourne, in the parish of East Meon, Hampshire. His inventory at his death in 1739 included:- 6 horses 4 cows 5 bullocks 220 sheep 6 pigs hay, wheat and barley in store plus 51 acres of wheat and 50 acres of clover and rye grass in the ground the land was passed down to Anthony from his grandfather Anthony and father Nicholas over 100 acres at Oxenbourne the total value of goods was 450 the house had 4 bedrooms a kitchen, hall, 2 drink houses a dairy brew house and a garret Monumental Inscription "Anthony of Oxenbourne occupation Yeoman"[citation needed]
The will[4] dated 24 September 1735 leaves the above property to his wife Elizabeth until her death or marriage, at which time it goes to John. There is a lump sum of 500 pounds to Thomas, and annuities to Sarah (wife of William Norman), Anthony, and Henry; daughter Elizabeth (Baker?) gets just five shillings.
