Martin was born in 1888. His parents were John Bullard and Sarah A Alson Bullard.[1][2]
In 1908, there was a Martin Bullard who took the Ship Equator from the Bahamas to Key West, Monroe County, Florida. He was listed as a 20 year old African farmer and a citizen of the Bahamas. His last permanent residence was Savannah Sound, Bahamas. His father's name was John Bullard.[3]
Jane Grey Culmer married Martin Luther Bullard on 19 Oct 1911 in Palmetto Point, Bahamas.[4]
In 1912, Martin was a 23 year old passenger on the Ship S E Douglass going from the Bahamas to Key West, Monroe, Florida. He listed his wife as Jane Bullard, who was in the Bahamas. He stated he could read and write and was a farm laborer of African race. He listed his nationality as Bahamas, but his last permanent residence as Key West, Florida.[5]

Oralee Bullard, born 19 May 1924 in Eleuthera, Glenelg, Bahamas [11]
Martin passed away in 1959 in Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas.[12]
Research Note
There are two marriage records for daughters of a Martin Luther Bullard which may be the two unnamed female infants listed above. Their ages are slightly older on the marriage records but that is not unusual for Bahamian records.
Leo Moss and Beatrice Alexandra Bullard married on 11 Sep 1934 in Harbour Island, Bahamas. Beatrice was listed as 20 years old but may be the daughter born in 1917.[13]
Joshua Lockswood Sands and Effie Jereline Bullard married on 17 Jun 1951 in New Providence, Bahamas. Effie was listed as 23 years old but may be the daughter born in 1925.[14]
