Mrs. Wanda Rowland Gibson, 70, of Clifton, Colo., formerly of LaFollette, died Friday.

Funeral services and burial were Tuesday in Grand Junction, Colo.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Barley of Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Sue McCulley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Miss Sandy Gibson of Clifton; three sons, Carl Rowland of Mack, Colo., Jack Rowland of Grand Junction and Allen Gibson of Clifton; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Richardson of LaFollette; and eight grandchildren.

Wanda Jean Gibson

Wanda Jean Gibson, a resident of Clifton for the past 33 years, died Friday, March 18, 1983, at her residence after a short illness. She was 70. Mrs. Gibson a seamstress, was born Jan. 23, 1913, at Shawanee, Tenn. and spent her childhood at Arthur, Texas, where she attended high school. Her maiden name was Bullard. She married James Gibson at Rossville, Ga., Sept 17, 1949. He died in November 1975 at Clifton. She was previously married to Ira Rowland, who died in 1947. Mrs. Gibson enjoyed cooking and quilt-making, and was member of the Church of God. She is survived by three daughters, Joann Barley of Albuquerque, Susan McCullough of Phoenix, Sandy Gibson of Clifton; a stepdaughter, Anna Mae Arnspiger of Phoenix; three sons, Carl M. Rowland of Mack, Jack S. Rowland of Grand Junction, J. Allen Gibson, Clifton; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Callaban-Edfast Mortuary.
