My father's family is Bullard. Before Quebec, they went up the East coast from Massachusetts, having landed there from England. Would love to collaborate!
My maternal line, the Claxton family, have spent the last 175 years in Quebec and Ontario, Canada, before that, England. Can anyone use my help?
I'm researching a current dead end, meaning I'm poring over mounds of Doucet/Doucett/Doucette info foe New Brunswick. Can I collaborate and help you?
I'm interested in the McSweeney family, 1800s, in New Brunswick, Canada. John Stanley McSweeney was born to Daniel McSweeney and wife Mary Doucet/Doucett on 21 Mar 1894 in Clifton, Gloucester. John STANLEY was my great grandfather. He had two wives, one being Margaret ESTHER McCafferty, my great grandmother. That's all I know about them!
It appears my McSweeney was really a Sweeney!

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Michelle, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the United Kingdom project, (currently led/coordinated by Maria Maxwell to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!

Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!
