Biography
Emily Bullman (married name Selwood) was born on 13 June 1867in Bowral, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Susannah Bullman and James Bullman.[1]
She married Albert John Selwood on 9 October 1886 in Goulburn, New South Wales.[2] Their children were:

- Reginald James Selwood (1892–1946)[4]
- Violet Louisa Selwood (1894–1970)[5]

Emily died on 30 January 1944 in Ramsgate, New South Wales.[citation needed]

Emily is remembered by her grandson as being fairly stern, prim and proper but an article in the Goulburn Herald of 28th May, 1881 tells us that as a young girl of almost fourteen, she and one of her brothers, 16 yr old Thomas, had to appear in the Goulburn Police Court on an assault charge. After Alberts death, Emily lived at Ramsgate with her son Ern and his family. She died at Ern's home from Broncho Pneumonia and senile decay on 30/01/1944. . Albert & Emily were cremated at Woronora Crematorium and their ashes were scattered over the rose gardens.
