Additional Notes

Tentative connection / preliminary work. Additions / corrections will be sincerely appreciated. This connection should be considered tentative until additional work can be done. This profile is via GEDCOM import of a "research / working study", please treat accordingly. This is part of a study of 170 " Avera related Pool's" - additional review / documentation and validation is needed for many of these "branch connections". Direct line sections of this have now been reviewed and are believed to have been confirmed to the "proof" level; however, other branches still require validation work.

  • CAUTION: Noted genealogist Audrey E Pool has expressed strong skepticism about this Bullock connection and several other of the Johnston NC Pool's.

Much of this evidence was gathered by excellent Avera researchers ( including Donna Cuzze and Bill Avery), and was based on their tracing of the Avera line -- which is fully documented to link to the Pool line through John Poole's wife "Jane" who re-married Henry Avera after John's death.

Although I think the train of evidence looks strong; due note of A E Pool's reservations should be taken. Often her opinions turn out to be the correct "facts" once enough data was accumulated.
