John Bulmer was born about 1245 in Wilton in Cleveland, Yorkshire, England, son of John Bulmer (~1218–1265) and Katherine Salvayn (~1225–1268).
He married Tiphaine de Morwick, second daughter and heir of Sir Hugh de Morwick and Juliane, before 26 April 1269.[1] They had several children, amongst whom:[2][3]

John died on 17 February 1299; Buried in Guisborough Priory.[2]
