Ralph Bulmer was born on April 4, 1340 in Castlethorpe, Lincolnshire, England, son of Ralph Bulmer (~1285–<1356) and Alice Killingholm (~1300–1356) and was baptised at Broughton, Lincolnshire the same day.
He had livery of his inheritance on 20 October 1362.
Sir Ralph de Bulmer was married about 1365 to Margaret, and because he died so young, they apparently had only one child. His son was Ralph Bulmer (~1366– ).
He and his wife were granted the manor of Boythorpe which remained with the Bulmers for several generations.[1]
Ralph died in December, 1366 in England, aged 26.[2]
