Citing: Clarence Bulmer, Carleton Sentinel, 6 Nov 1897 Certainty: 2 Clarence Bulmer, aged 16 years, son of Bamford Bulmer, Kilmarnock, was killed by the kick of a horse in his father's stable, on the evening of the 28th ult. The deceased had taken the horse from the wagon and into the stable; he had taken the harness off and was stepping behind the animal to hang it up when he received a kick in the back, which caused death almost instantly.
