Salathiel Bump was baptized September 6, 1761 in Amenia, Dutchess Co., New York. He was the son of James Bump and Jedidah Lothrop. He (1) married Mary Strong December 1786 in Middlebury, Addison Co., Vermont. His (2) marriage was to Lovisa Tinkham, December 13, 1807 in Salisbury, Addison Co., Vermont. Salathiel Bump passed away May 4, 1842. Burial at West Salisbury Cemetery, West Salisbury, Addison Co., Vermont.
