When Charles Bunch was born in Virginia in 1793, his father, George Bunch, was 28, and his mother, Hannah (Hibbs) Bunch, was 26. He married Frances "Franky" Berry in Warren County, Kentucky on 17 Aug 1813. He appeared in the 1800 Census, as residing in Warren County, Kentucky. The family was recorded as living in Warren County in the 1820 Census. In 1830 the family was still in Warren County. Likewise, they were still living in Warren County in 1840. In 1847 he had received three Land Grants totaling 385 acres in Butler County, Kentucky; two on Panther Creek, and one on Hickory Camp Creek. By 1850 they had moved to Butler County, Kentucky. His Will was probated on 3 Jun 1859, implying that his death was shortly before this date.
