Biography

Daily Review 9/9/1894

J. B. Bundy died at his family residence in Blue Mound at 7:30 oclock Friday evening after an illness of eight days. He was 52 years old and a member of the F.A.R. Mr. Bundy leaves besides a large circle of friends,a wife, son and daughter and in his death they lose a true husband, a kind father and an upright citizen. The funeral will take place Sunday morning at the residence, at 8 oclock, after which the remains will be brought to Decatur for burial. the exercises will be conducted by the G.A.R.

Served in the 124th Indiana Infantry, Company D during the Civil War. Listed Coatesville Indiana as residence when enlisting on Dec 10, 1863. Mustered out August 31, 1865 with rank of Sgt.
