The Eugene Register-Guard Lane County, Oregon Tuesday, October 19, 1971

BUNDY - John Thomas Bundy, Sr., Route 1, Cottage Grove died Sunday, October 17, 1971 at the age of 59. He was born in Piedmont, Missouri March 23, 1912, and was married September 6, 1953 in Winnemucca, Nevada, to Mary Jane Walker, who survives him. He came to Cottage Grove from Coquille in 1960. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roger and John Jr. of Cottage Grove; a daughter, Doris Mae Hampton of Coos Bay; three grandchildren a brother, Lacy Bundy in Illinois; a sister, Pauline Sutton in Missouri. Funeral services will be held at MILLS MORTUARY in Cottage Grove Thursday, October 21 at 1:30 p.m. with Dwight Adderman officiating. Interment in the Walker Cemetery.

1st wife was Eva Wilson, married July 7, 1935.
