Biography

Jonathan was born in 1798. He was the son of Eli Bunker and Anna Gordon.

Bunker D-105.

He changed his name to John Banchor.

Occupation: Merchant and Distiller, and Customs Inspector. One of the owners of Banchors & Boyden, Wine Merchants, Boston.

He became a Mason in 1825 - Mt. Sebanon Lodge, Boston.

He married Abigail Perkins Cheever (1803–1884). They had the following children:

Elizabeth Frances Banchor 1827–1887

Emily Agibail Banchor 1829–1901

John Franklin Banchor 1830–1908

Isabella Craig Banchor 1832–1920

George Pemberton Banchor 1834–1901

Anna Gordon Banchor 1840–1891

Alice Grace Banchor 1842–1938

He passed away in 1870.
