Hi Gary,

Perhaps, you were unaware:

"After the merge is completed you'll be shown a link to the merged profile. You should click over to it and confirm that it looks the way it should.

You will want to clean up the text. During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is simply appended onto the end of the text of the merged-into profile. You will want to integrate it into a single biography and a single sources section."

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Matching_and_Merging_FAQ#What_happens_after_a_merge.3F

I personally consider most of the gedcom gibberish from pay sites useless since the links are soon broken and several sites sell incorrect information without primary sources.

Cheers!

Hey Cousin,

Those dang gedcom uploads are a lot of work... I wish they brought more source material across. To me sourcing profiles is what makes them legitimate.

Cheers!

Hi Gary and welcome to WikiTree!

I've noticed some duplicates from your gedcom. Please note that married females have their husband's surname as CLN which differs from some genealogical standards; but, this comes in handy for collaboration. If you have questions G2G is a great tool. If I can help just ask and I will either know or possibly point you to an expert.

Cheers!
