I was born to Ella May and Howard Bunt in Windsor, Ontario on January 17, 1959. I attended Mrs. Packman's Nursery School at Grace United Church, Roseland Public School and Walkerville Collegiate, all in Windsor, before going to the University of Windsor. I graduated in 1984 with a B.A. in Honours International Relations, a combination of Political Science, Economics and History, and again in 1990 with an LL.B.
I then articled with the Windsor firm of Donaldson, Donaldson, Greenaway before completing the bar admission program and being called to the bar in Ontario in 1992. From 1992 until 2004, I practiced as an associate with Donaldson, Donaldson, Greenaway. In 2004, I began an association with another Windsor lawyer: Bruce Mitchell, who was then a sole practitioner. The firm, Mitchell and Associates, now has three lawyers and six support staff.
I met Lidia Pinazza in 1983 while attending the University of Windsor. We became engaged in 1984 and were married in 1985. She supported me through law school and our first child, our son Iain, was born on April 29, 1991 while I was completing my Articles of Clerkship. Our second child: Kathleen, better known as Katie, arrived on February 9, 1994. And the rest, is history as yet unwitten!

We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace, so this is the last message.
How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
It's time for your next stop on the guided tour!
This week, we'd like to show you How to Join in the Community. There's no shortage of opportunities to get involved through social media, our forum, and projects.
Be sure to check out the One Name Studies Project to see if anyone has started a project for one of the surnames in your family. Don't see one? Follow the instructions for starting your own!
Questions?, Just ask!! :-)
PS. Some email accounts do display the link, if so please view here on your personal page.

Welcome to this wonderful site ! I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Hope you had lots of fun reading "How to Start Climbing Our Tree". I would be happy to answer any relevant questions you have, please feel free to ask!
Regards Ronel
You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum: Were any of your ancestors involved in the American Indian Wars?
See you, Cindy
Welcome to WikiTree! Be sure to take a look at the link in the email you just got. It has important information to help you get started. :-)
WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team! And it is completely FREE!
If you are interested in sharing your research and want to collaborate to add your family, first confirm your email address. Then please fill out the Tags on your profile page and click Save Tags and Volunteer.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership, and you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
Thanks, Cindy
