Francis Burbank ... He passed away about 1929. [1]
The 1928 Burbank Genealogy lists him as Frank Le Mauen, b. 1859, living in California.
I found a marriage certificate from 15 May 1915 for Frank M. Burbank (widower, 57) and Lulu M. Conkling (Lewis) (40), evidently a second marriage for both of them. Frank's parents are listed as Orestes M. Burbank & Mary Thayer, indicating that both were born in New York. Ms. Conkling's parents are listed as Daniel M. Lewis (RI) and Martha A. Sawyer (ME).
Additionally, I found a marriage certificate for his son that lists the son as "F. Marion Burbank" and his bride as Nancy M. Spotts of Huntington Park, CA and his father as "Frank M. Burbank" and mother as Miss Laura Tubbs both born in New York.
Thus, based on this information, I am changing the first name from Francis to Frank since I can find no record of a Francis.
