Biography

Eliot was born in 1923. He passed away in 1977.

Elliot lived in Hanover NH for awhile where he graduated from High School. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1945 and was a flight instructor in the Navy during WW II where he attained the rank of lieutenant commander. He later was a captain and airline pilot for TWA for 29 years. He moved to Pittsfield NH in 1947 where he was active in town and civic affairs. He served as chairman of the board of trustees and as treasurer of the First Congregational Church. They had six children: Mary Elizabeth, Frank Winsor, Paula Anne, Joan Esther, Lydia Jane and Betty Almeda.
