Biography

Elizabeth Burch was born in 1729, in Prince George's County, Maryland, which was established in 1696. Her parents were Francis Burch, born 1695 and Alice "Allie" Owen. About 1746, in St John's Parish, Prince George's county, Maryland, Elizabeth married Robert Vermillion, born 1725, in King George's Parish, Prince George's county, a son of Giles Vermillion and Jane Hutchison. [1] Elizabeth and Robert resided in Prince George's county, Maryland, where their children were born:

  • Penelope Jane Vermillion, born 1749
  • Mildred Vermillion, born 1752, did about 1818, in Mason county, Kentucky
  • Robert Vermillion, born January 26, 1755 [2]
  • Frances Burch Vermillion, born 1758, died 1845, in Pike county, Missouri
  • Uriah Vermillion, born October 4, 1761, died October 31, 1844, in Arbia, Lawrence county, Ohio, married 1) Susannah Barker and 2) Elizabeth Shumate
  • John Vermillion, born September, 1763 [3]
  • Nicodemus Vermillion, born November 22, 1768, died after 1793, in Fauquier county, Virginia [4]
  • Hezekiah Vermillion, born 1769, died December 12, 1846, in Somme, Picardie France
  • Zachariah Vermillion, died October 31, 1844, in Arabia, Lawrence, Ohio

Robert wrote his Will on May 5, 1779 and died June 19, 1779, in Prince George's county, Maryland. He bequeathed his earthly good to his wife, Elizabeth Vermillion and named her his Executrix of his Will. [5]

Burch-1644 and Burch-1350 are not ready to be merged because: The two profiles represent the same person, but the parents are completely different and I must assume one has the wrong set of parents. This must be resolved before merging (and I agree the profiles should be merged eventually).
