Biography

John was born about 1732. He was the son of Thomas Burch and Hannah Cheadle. He passed away about 1801.

28 Dec 1767 On the motion of John Woodson gent setting forth that he is bound in this court as security for Charity Woodson her due and faithful execution of the will of Sanburn Woodson dec' her late husband and that said Charity Woodson hath since intermarried with John Burch and that John Woodson apprehends himself to be in danger of suffering damages by reason of his being security as aforesaid Whereupon it is ordered that said John Burch and Charity his wife be summoned to appear at the next court to give the said John Woodson sufficient security to indemnify him against any damage that may happen against him by reason of his being security as aforesaid or deliver up to the said John Woodson the estate of the said Sanburn Woodson[1]

You can always get it to the way you want it to be after the merge too many people have matching DNA's with several duplicates

If there needs to be a merger, it should be between Burch 1178 and 2303, not Burch 208. There is more accurate information on these 2.

Does this Thomas Burch even exist. Hannah Cheadle was married to John Burch at the time of birth shown for this individual. She is shown as the mother of the John Burch shown as half-brother of this John Burch. These two should be merged or this John Burch should be deleted.
