Burch-831 and Burch-5030 appear to represent the same person because: same person with a nickname

Burch-831 and Burch-5030 are not ready to be merged because: Same person but information isn't correct. Her name is Waltza Ann. Her nickname is Waltzie. I want to keep my tree correct.

It's not your tree, it's a shared tree. If you add duplicates, you should expect to merge them and not quibble about details. If it's the same person, the 2 profiles have to be merged. Read the Honor Code.

Burch-4271 and Burch-831 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person. However, the Burch 4271 has the birth year as listed on her headstone (I have several photos I took myself.) She is the momma to my grandfather and the spouse and such all match what we know already for her on both profiles. My grandfather isn't the child listed on 831 but he is her son (a twin, actually.) :)
