Willam Burcher died in 1853, aged 34, as a result of a horse accident.[3]

At his residence, Liverpool, on the 2nd instant, Mr. William Burcher, aged 34 years, leaving a wife and seven children to lament their loss.[4]
He was buried at Liverpool Pioneer Memorial Park, Liverpool, New South Wales.[5]

Her mother died 5th July 1998 aged 91 she lived in the same house on the corner of Concord Road and Patterson Ave, Concord since 1915.

Jocelyn lived at 31 Robert Street Strathfield a house which she bought out of Charlie Burcher's estate.
