Biography
David was married to Cynthia A. Cline, October 29, 1845, in Gallia County, Ohio. He and Cynthia lived in Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana, in 1850
He was a laborer in 1860, a farm laborer in 1870, and a day laborer in 1880. The 1870 census reports he was illiterate.
In 1890 David lived in the National Military Home, Montgomery County, Ohio. He had served as a private in Company D, 131st Ohio Regiment, from May to August 1864.
