Biography
Birth and Parnets
Daniel Burdick was born in New York.
Daniel, the second of twelve children of Jedediah Jewett Burdick and Sybil Thurston was born on 27 September 1796 at Grafton, New York.
Marriages
Daniel was married twice. He married 1) Eunice Randall (1800-1870), the daughter of Wait and Eunice Phoebe (Button) Randall on 16 April 1818 at Voluntown, New London, Connecticut. There were no known children from this union.
In 1860, Daniel (63 years, b. NY, occupation Farmer) and Eunice (60 years, b. NY) and a Betsy Miller (43 years, b. NY) were living at Albany, Bradford, Pennsylvania.[1]
Eunice (Randall) Burdick died on 24 January 1870 in her 70th year at Albany Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania.
Daniel married 2) Rhoda (Potter) Ormsby (1813-1892) the first wife of Daniel Ormsby (1801-1857). Daniel and Rhoda Burdick had no children.
Death and Burial
Daniel Burdick died on 15 November 1880 in his 84th year at New Albany, Pennsylvania, and is buried in Laddsburg Cemetery at Laddsburg, Bradford, Pennsylvania.[2]
